The Beginning

Currently, an applicant’s résumé may be the determining factor between themselves, and other competitive applicants. Grammatical errors, cluttered narratives and poor structure are elements identified by Selecting Officials that may hinder potential opportunities with a company.

After publishing my three (3) novels, I wanted to provide more than a temporary suspension of disbelief. More so, within my years in the workforce, I observed how résumés can be crucial to an employee’s possibility of advancement.

As the Lead Interviewer of several panels, I was responsible for reviewing each candidate’s résumé, learning about their employment history and evaluating their skillset. This experience birthed an expanded perspective as it relates to the evaluation and selection process.

Typically, résumé editing services can be costly. Such expenses prove difficult for individuals whom are struggling financially, unemployed or retired without having touched their résumé for decades. These were a few of the inspirations that contributed to the development of Al’s Résumé Services.
